12Gbps SAS3 Expander Architecture
Built on a SAS3 infrastructure, the RSA424-02M features an onboard expander
backplane with Mini-SAS HD connectivity. Supporting end-to-end 12Gbps throughput across host,
expander, and drives, it ensures reliable and scalable high-speed data transmission.
Flexible Platform Compatibility
Designed to support a wide range of server configurations, the chassis
accommodates Intel and AMD platforms with support for motherboard form factors up to EEB. With 7
full-height PCIe slots, it provides the flexibility needed for diverse enterprise workloads and
expansion requirements.
High-Density Storage
The front panel integrates 24 hot-swappable drive bays supporting both 2.5" and
3.5" SAS/SATA drives. With a 12Gbps SAS3 backplane and enterprise-grade tray design, the system
delivers high-density, reliable storage for demanding applications.
Optimized Thermal Design
Engineered for consistent operation under demanding workloads, the system features
4 high-performance 80mm PWM hot-swappable fans with speeds up to 10,000 RPM. Combined with a
front-to-rear airflow design, it ensures efficient heat dissipation across all critical components.
Dedicated System Drive Support
In addition to the front drive bays, the chassis includes 2 rear-mounted 2.5"
hot-swappable SSD bays, supporting 12Gbps SAS for OS or boot drive deployment without occupying
front storage capacity.
Redundant CRPS Power
The RSA424-02M supports 80 PLUS Platinum CRPS power supplies with multiple wattage
options from 550W to 1600W. Its redundant and hot-swappable design ensures stable and continuous
operation in mission-critical environments.
